  Nose: On the nose the wine was unclean with aromas of sultana, raisins, prune, dried black berries, Mushroom, Leather, animal, Smoke, dried cherries, Tar, Toast, honey
  Palate: Dry, Medium (+) Acidity, Medium (+) Tannins; medium alcohol and Medium body. Flavors of sultana, raisins, prune, dried black berries, Mushroom, Leather animal, Smoke, Tar, Toast,
  The finish medium (+), with medium (+) flavor intensity.
  Assessment of quality: The wine is very good
  Readiness for drinking: Can drink now potential not suitable for aging.

  Drank from magnum.
  
  Earthy, with dark fruits and some chocolate. On the palate quite firm and a rustic feeling with more leather, earth, less fruit. Pretty good with food.

  Fyllig och koncentrerad smak av mörka körsbär, plommon, läder och ekfat. Fortfarande en del sträva tanniner. Lång eftersmak. Ett gott vin som bör drickas nu och några år framåt. Gillade mycket till min lammfärsbiff.

  I had this a couple of days ago, and I didn't take notes, but the obvious thing with this wine was the maturity and the bouquet. Stables and leather! I will remember this bottle because of its almost parodic typicity of a mature wine. It was a good bottle, but don't wait for it, its ready!

  En torr dämpad inledning går snabbt över till ett överväldigande intryck av marmelad (på mörka bär) och körsbärstobak. Därefter dämpas smakregistret med avslutande toner av läder. Mycket kropp och tydliga tecken på en viss ålder. Vissa skulle kanske mena att det här vinet nått sin topp för något år sedan. Jag skulle däremot säga att det är på topp just nu. Åldern och hintar om trötthet vittnar snarare om värdighet och ballans än något annat.
