Wine Rating Methodology 96-100: One of the most enjoyable wines I have ever tasted. I would not hesitate to open this wine for any Master of Wine. 91-95: Extremely enjoyable wine that I would drink and buy again. Fantastic to open up for those who appreciate wine. 85-90: Decent to good wine. Weekday bottle you don’t feel guilty about not finishing. Below 85: would not drink or buy again. ***Price of wine vs. enjoyment (value) is taken into consideration ***I do not provide tasting notes as everyone’s palate is different and will have a different experience.

No notes taken. Only the second time I come across this producer and it again showed its class. This is a serious Californian Pinot Noir for Burgundy aficionados. Superb purity, bright red fruit, great balance and high elegance. Without that ripeness level, sugar and too much polish the average Cali Pinot often shows. Unfortunately, this is extremely hard, almost impossible to source in Europe, yet is the one Cali Pinot winery I would be most interested to cellar wines from. 94/95, maybe missing a touch of higher complexity for an even better rating.
A wonderful RRV appellation wine that is drinking well now and has plenty of life left in the bottle. Great red cherry with some clove to add a little spice on the back end. This wine will hold up well against any of the premium brand RRV appellation wines. Will be hard to let the other bottles age for too long in the cellar as it’s drinking so well now.

Great wine. Drinking best after three hours. Could be a couple points higher in a couple years. Will buy again (in bulk)
