Nose is interesting with pout pourry and plums. The palate was interesting, with medium acidity, pretty strong alcohol still, but nice notes of raisins and stewed plums and blackberries. Some eucalyptus, forest floor, coffee beans. Medium+ tannins, oaky ending. Already very approachable, with some herbal notes to give it an interesting twist compared to the average CdP. Nothing terribly exciting but drinkable.

Stewed strawberries with notes of dried herbs and pepper. Tannins are medium-plus with a drying, chalk like character in the mouth. Acidity is medium. Body is medium-plus. Overall, its a pleasant CDP.

Fabulous Châteauneuf-du-Pape and eminently drinkable now. The nose is positively alluring. A bit hot, though, at 15.5% alcohol. Enough guts and tannin to develop for a while.
