Green peppery forests and licorice, blackcurrants, blueberries and mineral notes. Beautifully rich, layered, textured bottle than was super today and will age well for a few more years. Fabulously smooth. There is nothing not to like about this. Great value

A beautifully crafted Gigondas at a reasonable price. Loamy soil, boysenberries, tea leaf and a touch of salinity. Glad I decanted it for 3 hours, and it continued to open throughout the evening. Might be even better in 3-4 years. But it’s hard not to dip into it now. Outstanding.

Les Pallieres started my wife's love affair with Gigondas back in 2002 during a dinner at Town Hall restaurant in SF. We've had hundreds of Gigondas since. This is a good vintage and seemingly one for aging. Our bottle tasted far better after an hour of opening and had a structure that begged for more years in bottle. Guessing this will peak in the window of 4-8 years from now.

fruity with fresh acidity, ripe red fruit leaning to the darker side, hints of spices, 止咳糖浆. nice medium+ tannins. well crafted, clearly in its youth.
