  • Pop and pour. In the glass, clear medium yellow/gold. On the nose, citrus fruits, a hint of mango, and potpourri. On the palate, silky and full bodied, with fruit alternating between sharp lemon and tangy tropical notes, paired with a mix of herbal and floral notes, leading to a smooth, palate-saturating finish. Perhaps a bit less delicate and more full-bodied than other Lato offerings?

  • Trip to NY.... and for the first time a wine from Paul Lato. But my goddness, this is unbelievably well made, with even a somewhat cochesque flair.Complex and very rich nose of honeyed citrus fruit, brioche, acacia flowers, some tropical undertones, with chalky and smoky minerals. The palate is powerful but at the same time so elegant and weightless.Perfect balance, nothing seems out of place or overdone.Very..very..long and smooth, with lively acidity, this is a hedonistic and sophisticated wine.As a european and great lover of white Burgundy,I'am really impressed.
