High quality chardonnay by a dedicated winemaker. Started off with a slight herbal quality which disappeared after a day or two leaving a balanced, perfumed, moderately oaked wine that is going to last for quite a while. Will be interesting to watch its development.

apple pie, white flowers and apricots on the nose, this smells and tastes like chardonnay, full, supple, but not heavy, the oak is married into the white fruit, orange Popsicle, peaches, vanilla and maybe some pineapple on the palate, balanced with acid, magic with lemon-butter-dill sauce drizzled over lobster tails, also very good with garlic-lime Cuban chicken breasts, have this with food and feel okay when consuming sooner than planned

Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind. Incredibly floral to start. Big fruit on both nose and palate with great acidity and textures, plus interesting nuance. Some noticeable heat on finish. Almost everybody thought this white Burgundy when tasted blind.

Similar notes to previous bottle, but this one seemed a touch oakier. Still elegant and fairly well balanced overall.
