Low key. Reddish fruits, rather autumnal, bit of blood and earth. Fully resolved and on the late side of middle aged. But more intriguing than this wine in this era is often given credit for.

Some Wine Tasted at the Zachys Auction (RN74 - San Francisco CA): Came across as musty, as well as ripe and advanced. Overall nice but tired. One taster thought it corked, but I didn't agree and didn't hear others agreeing either. Bottle was a 2015 auction purchase. The 1988 served alongside was much nicer.
