David’s 1999 Cote de Nuits (Lorne, London): Dense. A little cloudy. Full garnet to a mid ruby beneath the murk. After a little while it’s clearly corked.

David's 1999 Côtes de Nuits 1er Cru, Village by Village Horizontal (Lorne Restaurant, London): Slightly corked, I think, although not horrendously so. Something funky on the nose for sure. Otherwise some gamey interest. Palate a little short.
