  Deep ruby, pronounced nose blueberry black plumb , cherry, herbal. High acidity, high fine tannins, high alcohol, med + body, pronounced intensity. Med + finish as acidity and tannins outlast tannins. Pronounced fruit
  Will improve for next 2-3 years.
  
  Not my style, but perhaps ill keep next bottle a while longer so fruit is not as pronounced

  Sharp acid attack, long finish includes pepper, chocolate, then espresso, softens to more velvet
  Hint of blueberry
  Simple and clean, a bit metallic in its crispness

  Nose is smoky, ground black pepper, chilli, blueberry, wild strawberry. Not much structure to this wine which makes it easy to drink but lacks the stuffing for a long life.

  I have tried two vintages of this wine and it doesn’t disappoint. Chocolate Block is smooth and consistent from vintage to vintage. Flavors of chocolate, cofee, oak, blackberry and a hint of leather. Well done.
