First time trying this varietal and I’m very impressed. Lots of mango, apple, light oak with medium acidity. If the finish was longer this is up there with some of the best Italian white wines I have had in a while. 92 points.

Medium golden-straw, viscous. Rich floral nose - tropical fruits, melon. Dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol @13% abv and medium (+/ body Palate of lemon, tropical fruits, honey melon, mineral notes, almonds, white pepper. Rich mouthfeel, creamy with scintillating long, long finish (minutes).
Excellent dinner wine, a feast to enjoy on its own. Great rendition of this once forgotten low-yielding Piemontese variety. Matured 8 months on its lees.

A true beauty this is. A vibrant mix of fruit, from red apple to pure and juicy lemon to mango, gives a terrific complexity. On top there are some lively, aromatic spring floral notes, green grassy touches, even together with dry, hay-like impressions. Still these are all well integrated. The dominant factor is the acidity, which you really need to appreciate to love this wine. Also in the finish the acidity plays the major role, yet the minerality manages to get clearly noticed as well. I'm impressed. Yet again by the La Spinetta expertise.

Oranges and cream on the nose. Same on the palate, with plenty of acidity and a chewy texture. Versatile - good with food and on its own.

Creamy and peachy, but with a bright acidity. Light spice box and citrus accents and flower petals. A fun Italian varietal.
