Consistent with my previous notes. Decanted, lots of dried fruit and honey on the nose, the palate has intense dried apricots and balanced acidity. Perfect.

Pretty awesome. Dark amber color, opulent dry apricots, honey, and caramelized sugar on the palate, yet balanced with enough acidity that the sweet notes taste harmoniously dry. A gorgeous old auslese, from a 375 ml. Paired with crab cake and garden salad in DC.

Steve's 60th (Roswell, GA): From 375mL; brown orange color, aged, darker than I'd expect; intense honey, botrytis, orange marmalade, dried pineapple, brulee, rich; honeyed, rich, sweet, good acid, orange marmalade, sour red apple; really tasty and just the amount to satisfy ourselves without dessert.
