Bad cork that immediately fell into the bottle. Felt tired and oxidized. Still fairly drinkable, but definitely not what it could/should be at this point.

This was consumed over a period of several weeks, probably a month+, and I think it improved over much of that time simply sealed, not suctioned or gassed. That bodes well for its future IMO. Ripe orchard fruit well balanced with enough acidity. Not just simple and sweet, there are touches of spice and even a savory side to it. Really a pleasing wine with some cheeses or even on its own. From 750 ml bottle.

SLDS March 2019: Golden colour. Mango, honey, mint and apricot with some quince and lemon as well. Tangy acidity with very good length. Rounded mouthfeel but still have good drive. This is drinking well now from 375ml.
