Deep ruby color. Aromas of raspberry, smoke, and herbs. The flavor profile is simple and underwhelming. IMO, Seghesio Zinfidel at $20 bottle (Costco) is a much better value with a more favorable profile.

At $40++ per bottle no one is buying this on a whim. You're buying it because you, or your spouse, know what you are going to get. I got it as a gift so $0 for me, which is a solid price.
It's exactly what you expect it to be, the style is consistent. The only question is how to choose between this/Clio/Wagner/Caymus/8 Years in the Desert/Veraton to spend your $50.

Don’t buy again. Like others more for less.
