  • This is good. It has sneaky complexity. An interesting intermediate wine between warm and cool toned. Neither like a Crozes (not even close) or a Brezeme, more a junior Cornas, or even junior Cote Rotie. Within the coolness it had a nice plushness that went down very easy.

Corn on the cob and slightly peppery nose - that weird corn on the cob smell I get off some Cote Roties esp. with some bottle age (which I don't really think about this having). Floral too. In mouth, a nice balance of sweet and acid, not too powerful, refreshing, olivey and slightly southern. I did not find really any green-ness, though it is not a large scaled wine. But I would not sit on them.
