  Came around in the glass in about 20-30 min to show good red cherry fruit with earthiness and some asian spice, but that was not very prominent. It was a good pairing for miso marinated salmon and was most enjoyable in that capacity. A solid Vosne showing, and I think it will show well for several more years.

  Chrismas spice and everything nice! This wine has a gorgeous Christmas spice and other very typical Vosne baking spices that come wafting to the nose. The wine has a beautiful dark red hue. It tastes of deep, dark red cherry, has many gingerbread and Christmas spice perceptions and hints of earth and a little chalky stone. The swallow and follow are easygoing, full and delicious. This is delightful, excellent, excellent Burgundy. Another great 2006 as well.

  This wine began with a beautiful tart spicy red fruited nose. The fruit is absolutely gorgeous; lush, plush, fine, and deep, mostly dark cherry with some purple or plum hints, and a little oakiness. Some time will really help this wine as it needs to integrate some of its oak and shed a little of its purpleness. Very good and recommended.
