Primary, approachable. High altitude wine, cool, spicy style with the sweet Grenache in the background; there is Spanish spice here, good local feel. Unmoved on day 2, 92+

Dark garnet color. Full bodied and ripe blackberry /black cherry and dark fruits with tobacco leaf, oak and spice. Juicy acidity and moderate tannins. and minerality. Rich but not overripe. 15% abv. In prime. Drink now through 2028 but now is better.

It is time to drink this bad boy. Absolutely fat and luscious and sinful. Cherry, herbs and spice and mineral finish. Nothing but love in this bottle. I agree with Parker. 98. Decanted 2 hrs with Ullo filter. Served at 60* with smoked lamb. Life is so very good with this wine. You can never go wrong with Clos Mogador.

Took a taste upon opening and then gave it about and hour decant. Noticable change. Took the edge off and became really nice. Cherry candy and dark red fruits. Great mouthfeel and decent finish. Some spice and minerals. Really nice wine that will probably get even better in a few more years but nothing wrong with drinking now, as long as you give it about an hour in a decanter. Would definitely buy again.
