  We have opened two bottles of 1989 Clos Mogador and both seemed flawed, high acidity hint of vinegear, searing tannin, no fruit... didn't improve with aeration... very different from previous bottles that were beautiful...

  1989 Clos Mogador Priorat (Spain, Catalunya, Priorat) (Spanje, Catalunya, Priorat) Kleur: Diep donkerrood maar oogt jonger dan de 1990 (opvallend veel paars), klein randje oranje Aroma / bouquet: Rijp, behoorlijk uitgesproken en complex, tabak en mokka, kruidig, beetje prikkelend (mint), Smaak / Afdronk: Vol, rijp en krachtig, krachtige en rijpe tannines en zuivelachtige (iets prikkelende) zuren, nog enorm veel lengte maar niet meer helemaal in balans. Algemeen / potentieel: 1e commerciele jaargang van Clos Mogador. Geur is beduidend mooier dan de smaak. 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 9 + Smaak / Afdronk: 10 + Algemeen / potentieel: 6 = 80/100
