Grands Jours de Bourgogne - 2022 Clos Vougoet (Chateau de Clos Vougeot): Holy cow, true to form, this is immensely structured I don’t know when this will be ready to drink. For me it looks like they have overdone it on the tannins as unfortunately all too often in this Maison. If you have this, do not open before 2035. 88-90

Barrel sample at a tasting of 6 Jadot reds. Purple colour reflected how young this wine was and is all potential at this time and will no doubt provide lots of pleasure with sufficient time in bottle.

2022 Jadot Primeur Barrel Tasting (Marcel's Restaurant, Washington D.C.): Expressive nose displaying generous sweet red fruit, strawberry jam, raspberry candy, liquid smoke, light caramel, toasted oak and earth. Very good concentration, generous red fruit, warm and round, bright acidity, earthy mineral, noticeable tannins and a long sweet red fruit driven earthy finish. Perhaps the most concentrated wine of the tasting.

Vosne Millésime - Noblesse des Clos Vougeot - Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Château du Clos de Vougeot): Walkaround tasting with producers. Cross-section of cherries here with subtle spice and floral note. Nicely harmonious, good+ weight, borderline Grand Cru density. Wonderful to drink as early as 2027, but this will hold well, too.
