Owned bottle since release. Deep red color with hints of rust around the edge. Ripe cherries, cloves, thyme and bay leaf on the nose. You can tell the wine is maturing. Beautiful texture with some fine grained tannins still present. Makes me wonder if it was partially fermented with stems. Plenty of structure and plenty of life left with this wine. This is a mature wine with plenty of life ahead of it. A real pleasure to drink. Drank over the course of three days.

Medium red with mahogany edge, unchanged over the past several years. Over ripe strawberry, slightly balsamic, baking spice nose. Entry is smooth, rich and then develops some grip. The concentrated flavours are mature of oak, tobacco, leather and the strawberry jam is just a sweet undercurrent to the savory palate. Tannin is present and smooth and the finish is long. An excellent bottle.

Magnificent in early 2018. A beautiful marriage of rich fruit, still bright and lively, with savory aged characteristics. All of a piece, with the nose, palate and finish creating a wonderful journey. The medium body holds together beautifully throughout.

What a beautiful wine. At 10 years old, this is sweet and smooth, but still crimson and fruity, but fresh not jammy. In a lovely place, but seems to be able to hold if desired.
