  Tannins are very smooth now. More of an Oregon style pinot. Only knock is the alcohol is a tad high against the fruit. Decant at least an hour.

  I got back to the bad habit of coravining a glass of wine each night while I cook. This was the wine for last week. The nose is dark cherry. The palate was dark red berries, a touch of strawberry and a hint of chocolate. The finish was moderate and accentuated the dark cherry. This wine is drinking exceptionally well for 15 years of age. I have one bottle left and I will get to it in the next few weeks.

  Opened let sit for an hour and then pnp'd. The nose is dark cherry. The palate was dark red berries, a touch of strawberry and a hint of chocolate. The finish was moderate and accentuated the dark cherry. Drank more like a French pinot noir than the typical California fruit bomb.

  Opened without decanting and let sit for two hours before tasting. At first very balanced but unspectacular. From hours three to five it has grown a fantastic long finish. This is great drinking but probably has five years. Don’t understand why the drinking window was listed as past by others.
