Wine, Browns and my 55th Birthday (My Home): Lovely wine in a very nice place right now. The nose has dark cherries, green tobacco and bell pepper. Great texture, lush, supple yet lean. On the palate, the fruit is still dominant but it unwinds in the glass showing a nice complexity. A glass late in the evening was much more complex. Nice finish.

Taste: Boysenberry, cherry, lt. blueberry, vanilla, snappy tannins with tea leaves coming and going. Well layered and integrated fruit, and a long sexy finish.
Edges out their 2004 and easily beats the 2006.
90 pts.
Enjoy now and can revisit in a few years as well.
Solo or with food.
Always one of my fave French (or otherwise) Cab Francs.

Not as much acidity as I would like. Hope this has some life left. Could have been some travel shock.
