  Amazingly full of life. Dusty complex nose of red fruit, herbs, and maybe a hint of sawdust. Red mature fruit on the palate with a hint of oxidation that was unobtrusive. Maybe not the best wine ever, but the time and place combined with the wine's rarity and the fact that it was a gift from Giovanni Manetti made it perfect!!
