  • Evolved golden with great clarity, luscious tears, lots of "gras". Wonderful brioche to the nose, citrus and pain grille, very fine character; lemon grass that follow through on the palate, quite ample (as a Grand Cru), lots of breed, multi layers with notes of limoncello and hay, impressive weight, striking acidity and youth overall, so much purity and impressive remanence (25+ sec.)
    Pretty awesome!

  • Brought by Brian D. Great nose - vanilla, creamy, malt and cocoa, cool, like creme fraiche. Palate is creamy with lemons, good minerals, and steel. Full, bright and precise. Excellent lemon and minerals finish. Nose: 6/6, Palate: 5/6, Finish: 5/6, Je ne sais quoi (wild card): 2/2 = 18/20 = 96/100. Thanks Brian!

  • Quite light for its age. Lemon drop, white flowers, and some oak toastiness. Racy, mineral, and elegant in the mouth. More than alive and fresh. Superb.

  • Golden yellow; rich brioche nose; begins with a subtle anise nose, evolving to a minty creme brulee/lemon custard, incredible sense of smoothness and integrated lemon/spearmint flavors, very complex lasting over the 90min course of the meal( nothing minty or lemony), very full bodied, smooth soft character; very long finish continuing the flavors/nose of the earlier impressions. A GREAT bottle

  • Served blind at The Sportsman (thanks, chef).... Brilliant, big, fabulously rich, buttery and nutty but with a nice core to it. Beautifully mature and in immaculate condition.
