  Earth, stewed fruit, rose petal, funk and tar. Palate was seamless with subtle fruit and softened tannins with the beaune rusticity. Drinking at its peak. Nice surprise.

  Dirty Deep tawny in color. After 2hrs decanting, the nose opened up to an aged, complex, broad aromas of stewed red fruits, wet soil and under bush.
  Medium body, with similar multi layered, aged flavours of sweet stewed fruits, iron, wet earth. Excellent length.
  Really nice tonight.
  This is my 2nd bottle, out of a 12btl case. The 1st bottle was way its prime. This one is definetely in decline, but one can still experience that feeling that only old Beaunes Pinot noir can bring.
  So nice!
