PnP, consumed over 2 nites. The wine was better on the 2nd evening. Notes of bright red cherry and even cranberry, with some light spice and soil tones, brambly on the first note. Didn't love it, but liked it just fine. Drink up.

14.1% alcohol. This has gotten so pretty over the past five years. Bright red color. Spicy, mineral-laden, brambly bouquet. In the mouth, this has smoothed out quite a bit. Delicious, overtly fruity, bright, brambly, and delightfully acidic still. Yet this still has a great, smooth mouth feel. Awesome wine. A-/A

Like just about all Joseph Swan wines in my experience, this will last. Drinking delightfully now, wears its 14.1% alcohol well, and shows perfect Zinfandel qualities. Not top draw but very good.

Medium red color. A mid-life zinfandel nose, barely touched of oak and loaded with perfectly ripe raspberry fruit, brushy notes, with a hint of redwood. On arrival, low-medium tannin and medium-low acidity. In the mouth, dry raspberry fruit is almost everything here, medium length and medium intensity finish. I will try to drink these up in the next year while they remain fresh as this. Bottle #10 of twelve.

Medium red, pale-edged. Gobs of fruity Frambroise stew of California hillside brush, ripe not overripe. On arrival, low-medium tannin and low acidity; seems build for current drinking. Flavor intensity is medium, giving dry raspberry fruit in a silky package. Svelte, not light. Medium finish. Bottle #9 of twelve.
