Same bottle as Melvin. Really not my type of wine. Came across as a bit subdued, lean, and a bit boring for my palate. Everyone else seemed to like it as their WOTN.

Mainly Vosne and Chambolle GCs: Wow my first instinct was '06 or '08 H-N RSV, almost everyone managed to land on RSV for this. Had almost everything I look for in a red Burg - a sensual, lovely texture; beautifully pure and spice-driven cherry fruit. Only quibble was that it was slightly thin on the palate. An underrated producer.

Vosne spice and melange of red and dark fruit on the nose. Nice mouthfeel with serious presence at the fore and mid palate. Finishes slightly acidic and without the length expected from this grand cru.

La Paulée de NY Gala Dinner (Pier 60 - NYC): Wow, so much Vosne spice in the nose infused with black cherry and tea. Rich, concentrated and silky. So texturally complex.
