The first thing I notice is how similar this seems to the Knoll, with a similar freshness of fruit but here just a touch on the creamy side - you get a whiff almost like aloe-scented soap. It's more voluminous in scent and broader in scale, but the difference in construction is more dramatic than the difference in flavor or scent. This doesn't have the tensile mouthfeel of the Knoll - it's much more generous and easygoing in personality. Ironically enough after the sauvignon blanc that smelled almost riesling-ish, the fruit here has such a fresh purity to it that this eventually seems almost sauvignon blanc-ish.
