Lovely, fragrant nose, red fruit, some sweetness, florals. Medium bodied, red fruit, spice, light tannins, fresh acids, medium length finish. Very good indeed nudging excellent, drinking well.

Nine red 2006 Burgs (Noize): A gorgeous, perfumed nose of truffle and sweet flowers. Soft and savoury on the palate, with some powdery strawberry and spice and a fair amount of grip; if not fully rustic, these were certainly not the most sophisticated tannins, but the whole package was quietly satisfying.

2006 Burgundy with a few additions (Noizé, London): Bright red fruits here, some lift and a touch of florality in time. Cornflowers? Also some squashed blueberries. Palate is a little less giving but with time in the glass and food relaxes a little.

Was expecting to be over the hill but still some life left here. Though agree it’s past peak. Muted red fruits (cherry) with faint mushroom and hedgerows. A bit of green (maybe not fully destemmed ?). Tight tannins. Nice pleasant wine at this stage but a bit faded.

Some VA on the nose. A bit reductive. Light colour browning at the rim. Pretty dried out and tired on the palate. Fruit gone. Lean with nothing much left.. Over the hill for this bottle.
