Las tdrunk Nov 2013. Notes unchanged. Very coarse but goes well with strong flavoured, fatty meals. 8 years later still drinking well and with the body I think it could go for several more but this is my last of 3 bottles.

Last tasted 2010. Dark red color. Aroma a bit more port like. Intense flavours. Spicy and sharp finish. Really has not mellowed with the years. Definatly needs to be drunk with food and flavourful, fatty food at that.

Produced by Tsantali who ownes number of vineyards, Rapsani is made in Mount Olympus area; varietal composition: Xinomavro, Krassato and Stavroto; matured for 6 months in oak barrels; more premium Reserve and Grand Reserve - are matured longer certainly. Tasting: deep red/violet color, ripe cherries mixed with herbs and aromas of tomato, olives, little vanilla. medium bodied, interesting wine, ideal for Greek food red.

Vraiment pas notre genre de vin. Difficile de mettre le doigt sur ce qui ne fonctionne pas mais en bout de ligne, nous n'avons pas apprécié.
