Clear dark ruby colour. Clean nose with red fruit, herbs, tea against a background of ink, vanilla & sweet spice. Soft velevt entry. Dry medium acidity & tannins, medium + body. Red fruits & herbs on the palate too. Medium length. Very good balance although palate fruitier than the nose would suggest. Very good.

ChTR kokous 29.4.2009 (SKO-toimisto): Tasted double-blind, decanted for an hour. A dark red wine to the rim, some violet there as well. Quite a bit of cassis and earthy smells, quite fruity, spicey with a slight smokey aroma as well, just a whiff of oak. On the palate this is medium bodied with lots of spicey red fruits and some tannins. We had this about a month ago as well, and it continues to be pleasing. A good QPR wine.

ChTR kokous 1.4.2009 (SKO-toimisto): Decanted for an hour, tasted double blind. This was a young looking wine, a medium red with a violet tinge to it. The nose was sweet red berries like rasberry with a whiff of oak. It was initially quite restrained, but opened up with airtime. The palate had red fruits, a bit of tannins and a tad of smokiness. The wine was very Syrah-like in my opinion, and I was going for Northern Rhone. When it was revealed as a Greek wine, I was quite surprised. The grape varieties in the wine are Xinomavro (34 %), Krassato (33 %), and Stavroto (33 %), all unfamiliar to me. A nice wine in any case. 50+4+11+14+7=86

Net, digeste et légèrement épicé. Excellent pour le prix.
