Not sure here, much higher alcohol than u would expect in a beechworth wine, I must check the altitude, it was tasty but alcoholic wines can be , still seemed to need plenty of time , then we will see.

Cool, minty fruit, creamy fullness, somewhere in between Australia and Northern Rhône - and very well made indeed. There is a silkiness to the structure, nothing is overdone here, and the wine comes across as very young. Will it age like a great Côte-Rôtie? I have my doubts, no harm in pulling it now with the abundant primary fruit just tamed a little by time ... (Pizza at the terrase)

Syrah aromas of forest floor and spices. Cool fruit. Fullbodied and massive. Also nicely balanced, with fine tannins. Extremely concentrated and long. Wow!
