It was quite elegant on the nose, slightly meatier and soily on the palate, but no heat for 2003 vintage. Overall, an ok but not much structure wine. Don’t have much experience drinking this producer’s wine, but seem very popular in Japan. Patrick passed away in 2013, now his wife Chisa (from Japan) makes the wine.

Not as pleasant as the 04 from a couple of days ago, might suffer a little heat in the bottle or simply too much heat in the vintage, over ripe fruit with dark soil notes, no layering. Ok drink but not a buy for me

Really not good. Once again effervescent as others have said. Plus a lot of funkiness. Left it overnight to see if it would improve, and the nose did a little, but it is actually hard for me to drink! First time I am going to pour away a bottle of burgundy at this price. A big disappointment, and gives me pause buying from this domaine going forward.

Definite Beaune earthiness, wood, forest floor. Some dried mushroom dusting the palate as well. This overall just seems reticent and lacks a little freshness. Missing some acidity on the mid palate and finish.

Rather funky. An effervescent mouth feel. Some decent earth tones, almost barnyard (which I like if balanced) but in the end it doesn't hold together. Have tried this a few times now and am pretty convinced that this isn't going to change for the better. Not the best purchase I have made in the last few years.
