Maison Louis Jadot (wine ark alexandria): Medium minus savoury meaty, yeast extract and a touch of farmyard over slightly volatility, wood glue but, with time in the glass, it starts to show some lovely red and black fruits with a little jubey cherry, cream, sweet spice. On the palate it's juicy with a lovely gently cherry fruit here but quite savoury, tannins on the id palate but all travels long. Very nice.

I prefer this wine against C Vougeot same vintage, but a little bit the same problem, too broad in the palate, wood well integrated, distinctively a PN with a lot of red fruits, more masculin than shy giant

Day Three in Burgundy: Rousseau, Marchand, Dugat, Jadot (Cote d'Or): Tasting at domaine. A complicated wine because Jadot usually produces two DIFFERENT bottlings of Clos St. Denis - one is domaine (labeled as "Louis Jadot, Domaine Gagey") while the other is negociant and labeled as "Louis Jadot." My limited experience with the two has indicated a discernable qualitative difference with the domaine cuvee being superior.
This is the negociant bottle. Slightly reductive, sulfured start, which was hard to get past. Lots of good fruit, seemingly forward, but also seeming a little straightforward.

Drank it side by side with Jadot's GC St. Denis.
