  Purchased at Leura Cellars on 14/9/18 for A$131. Decanted. Still showing good purple core. Nose - classic aged CS - cedary oak, blackcurrant and earthy, smoky notes. Palate: intensely perfumed, great balance, very long finish. Outstanding and a real surprise - much better than I expected for its age.

  Mint, blackberry, earth, fruit cake and prune fruit lead to a full bodied pallet with a robust dry short finish. Notes of smoke, roasted meat and dry herbs linger. Structure is great for its age with balance for the most part. Not a killer concentration but very interesting and holding up very well at 32. Long from dead though its slowly going down hill. Drink now-2020. 88pts.
