  Surprisingly alive. Golden color. Brassy nose with some compote fruit notes, slight almond, grapefruit/citrus, bright saline and mineral. Palate features fruit that is both creamy and zippy. Hints of oxidation, but not at all offensive; rather, adds to sensation and sense of complexity. Not finesseful, a little clumsy. Pleasant surprise.
