  • Deep golden colour. Nutty bq w notes of toast, honeysuckle, well integrated oak, touch of spices. Medium-to-full body w fresh acidity, fruit still fatty, very well balanced. Long, complex aftertaste w some alcohol, touch of bitter citrus, but ending with fruit coming back again. Will definitely last quite some years, although we doubt it will get better. A stunning wine!!

  • This was a good bottle of fully mature white burgundy, the nose was stunning, toasted brioche, honey and hazelnuts, the palate could have had a bit more zip to it, but it's hard to complain about that, the concentration and length was good, not stunning, but it was a pleasure to drink. After a couple of hours in the glass it took on an intense creme brûlée nose, which was pretty amazing in itself.
