Orange-ish color; showing pre-mox although not undrinkable, just muted and slightly nutty with almond paste, cookie dough, medium lift, mid finish. Athough not "bad", this is pre-mox, especially noting how well the '99 and '01 Pulignys showed. DQ'd anyway as I arrived late. Yarom DD blind tasting Crustacean.

Light gold. White nectarine, tropical fruits, honey and stones, there is an overall regal impression due to a fine acid seam throughout, oak woven through the palate, and elegance. Slightly viscous, rich and round. Based on this bottle, I do feel that the wine should be broached soon, with the wine's texture likely to become unknit with excessive cellar time.
Wine has been professionally stored since release, however cork was soaked 3/4 way up.

Deep lemon. Lightly fragrant, soft peach and blossom. Elegant but with nice deep intensity. Very smooth from start to the very long resonant finish. Good acidity. Citrus juices and well integrated oak, with undercurrent of stone fruit pip spice. Drinks well but could definitely go another 5, tastes very youthful now. No hint of development.

another fantastic bottle of this.... as I touch some wood next to the computer, I will mention that this makes 7/7 from the case that have been in unbelievable shape and none with the pox. side-by-side with a 1985 Domaine Leflaive Batard, this blew the Leflaive out of the water. might develop further, but superb to drink right now.

Tasted blind: light golden color; great bright nose of crushed stone and apples; truly classic white burgundy, delicious.
