P&P. this bottle is much better than the one I had a few years ago. the wine has all the tools to be a grand cru although it was closed. It started to open up after a while in the glass. a lot of potential. I would either keep for a few years or decant for at least 30 mins.

Pale straw, looks youthful. No premox. Pineapple cake nose. Medium-bodied, discreet yet sufficient acidity, elegant and silky in texture, slightly unctuous, complex palate of pineapple cake and honey, touch of French oak seasoning.

Rich but not heavily golden. Beautiful white flowers, brightly perfumed, plus a hint of crushed herb. Peaches, lemon zest, honey and crushed herbs, super fine oak spice. Beautifully balanced, from start to finish, terrific poise. Finish is tight and long, all seamless. No hint of ox. Really in a perfect spot.

Poor showing of the wine yesterday. Maybe it was too hot in NYC (although there was AC in the restaurant). Nose took a while to open up and was still discreet at the end. I felt that the wine was not in place, the power and the acidity going to opposite direction which was detrimental to the balance and the harmony of the wine.

Opened and poured into a decanter, tasted over 3 hours. Pale yellow color, creamy, nice nose, all great until the finish. A little too "zesty" for my palate and others at the table. Bottle stored at 50 degrees, maybe just too young. 92 with up side
