Perfect drinking window right now. This still has a bit of tannins on the finish but nothing obtrusive. Very elegant style, with nice ripeness, broad cherry and raspberry fruit and very little green pepper at all. Smoky notes. Nicely balanced. This will hold here for awhile but I can’t see a reason to wait longer if you have a few bottles. This has a lot of sediment!

My favorite Baudry wine due to it's relative price to satisfaction ratio, availability and the fact that I love somewhat rustic, mature wines. Dull, almost hazy crimson hue, with little to no bricking. Beautiful aromatics from the get go. A melange of red berry fruits, pencil lead and baking spices. Lacy, complete, engaging, mature, dare I say Burgundian in texture, with barely a hint of green bell pepper. Just a wonderful and delicious Grezeaux that has shed it's baby fat and has begun what seems to be a nice drinking plateau. Bought a 6-pack on release, have 3 more to enjoy. Do not hesitate to open a bottle.

This cab franc looks and smells delicious - the taste is a bit of a challenge - some fruit present but really secondary and tertiary flavors with tons of smoke. Will let it evolve a bit.

Final bottle. A little feral and bloody in the best way. Good depth of fruit. Needs a bavette or duck.
