not blind, Magnum Typical 2009, drinkable but not really fresh (especially compared to the Felseneck 2009), even no petrol and not oxidized. Typical expression of the vintage. 91

“Ten Years After” 2009 Dry Riesling Tasting (Private Location): The baroque nose is dominated by yellow fruit, acacia and also some notes of mustard and some pickled cucumber. Ripe and round on the palate. Missing a bit the cut and the precision. Very balanced on the mid-palate. On the back end I get a bit of a bitter not. Good but not really "my" wine.

10 years after Riesling tasting - 2009 (@Private location, Esslingen): Glass: Zalto Universal *** just some brief notes, no full details, rating in context of the vertical tasting *** Opened about 10h before, not decanted. Tasted blind. Youthful pale golden color. Beautiful ripe and rather baroque nose with lots of ripe stone fruit and acacia. On the palate also very baroque in the best sense: Wonderful perfume, ripe, sweet fruit, herbs, acacia and some zesty, bitter notes at the end. Great pressure and tension, round and balanced, nice length. Quite youthful with great potential. Now the second time that Idig positively surprised me! 93-94+

Horizontal tasting of the27 best 2009 German Dry Rieslings; 9/16/2019-9/26/2019 (Concept Resling 14.09.2019): Semiblind
Not many bottles left so it was easy to detect. I was never a big fan of this site. I know many German Riesling lovers like this wine because they say it is a "long distance runner". I can't understand it maybe I will learn the nest time. Too fat and missing elegance. 92
