At first I noticed an oxidative Sherry like nose up front followed by honey aromas. Lemon lime along with a lingering crisp apple flavor. Overall a wine with a very nice complex fruit flavor well balanced by the bright acidity. Paired well with pan seared scallops along with linguini tossed with a fennel pollen infused olive oil.

Popped and poured. Medium yellow. Strangely I got no nose on this whereas others described a lovely floral nose. On the palate I also picked up a slight oxidative note and a bit of excess heat that marred what was otherwise an attractive beeswax and white flower mid-palate. Others didn't pick up any oxidation.
I've enjoyed this previously but this bottle felt out of joint to me. NR.

Pale lemon straw. Truly gorgeous nose: some ripe melon and alfonso mango immediately, then buttery lemon and lemon zest notes, but also some grassy and floral notes. Really is gorgeous. Lovely, fresh attack. Rich and buttery on the palate, with tropical fruit, apples and lemon fruit notes. This really is bloody gorgeous. Wish I had another 2 cases of it, rather than just one bottle left.

Medium yellow. Typical chenin nose of beeswax and acetic acid notes. Full and complex on entry through the midpalate and final. My notes are from memory but this was delightful, thought provoking and complex. Balance was superb.

Pale lemon straw colour. Buttery, slightly honeyed nose with fresh citrus and some lanolin and nuttiness. Marzipan-like, maybe, but not almonds - perhaps imagine a marzipan made with cashews? Really good palate. Fresh, bright attack with lemon-lime hints, but it then quickly fills in the mouth. Big, full, mouthful, but no blowsiness at all. Very precise, clean flavours. Bit of lanolin oiliness on the finish. Very long.
