Quite dark in colour, pretty evolved on the nose as well. Almost creamy, yellow fruit, quite rich. Decent acidity, slightly mineral, a little unbalanced and maybe lacking a bit of vibrancy. A different bottle earlier this year was livelier and fresher. 88-90

Drunk over two nights. Much sharper, more precise than earlier bottles. Piercing citrus fruits, chalk and oyster shell. Definite salinity. Real dry extract showing in the finish. Mouth watering. Surprisingly one dimensional but with a great and lingering intensity. Not great Grand Cru level but the intensity of taste comes close to making it so.

Better bottle. Mid gold, touch of green. On the rich side for sure. More tropical than sharp citrus fruits. Fair depth and complexity though. Bits of hay and iodine in there. Opened with a rather classic cheesy nose. Paled a bit against a Wm Fevre Preuses 07.

Dauvissat plus X Tasting (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): *** all wines tasted blind ***
Glass: Zalto Bordeaux
Hmm, quite oxidative, apple peel, very phenolic, some soil notes. Ripe and most probably past peak. 88-89

Musique & Vin Festival BYO Dinner (Château de Meursault): Small glass, brief note. Rich style for Chablis from this vintage. Good length and weight, with less minerality than I'd expect.
