Pronounced nose intensity with notes of white flora, crysthanamum tea, toast, tropical fruits. Medium+ acidity. Long finish. Slightly advanced for its vintage. Probably bottle variation. Will not improve any more for this bottle.

HDH auction at Spiaggia; 9/19/2019-9/21/2019 (Chicago, IL): This needed a lot of air to finally strut its stuff. Really fat and peachy, with lots of sappy ripe fruit here. Good acidity, and none of the overripeness that you would expect from the vintage. Sappy and intense -- the best kind of white Burgundy, without that distracting reduction that's popular these days.

You get the richness and ripeness of the vintage here but it is certainly not overblown. It drips with juicy white peach fruit and there’s a suggestion of spiced pear. It is unctuous in the mouth yet light on its feet. It builds through the palate and finishes with relatively low acidity but has plenty of energy and verve.

Medium bodied, lighter style here with a fresh, lemon, lime and pear quality with bite and energy, I just wish there was more concentration of flavor in the wine.

Decadent and luscious. More primary than complex at this stage, but showing lots of upside potential.
