Fine Wines SG - Meursault vs the World BYOB (Fine Wines SG): Could get some apricots but it’s still mostly dominated by straw, green dill herbs, and clove and cumin spices, and even somewhat smoky. There even seemed to be a tannic attack on the teeth and gums. Quite an interesting, yet strange one

(With tomato and aubergine pasta) Went down well and easily, impressed glugging friends. Not quite as enlivening or mineral as I remembered but very satisfying even though I got less than a third of the bottle. My first wine since Christmas as it happens.

Fantastic. Mineral, citrus, grip, great depth and so many facets.

A good greenish chardonnay nose. Good palate. A bit simple maybe.
