Creamy, toasty peach and pear. Struck flint, biscuit and hazelnut. Very refined and well put together. Still incredibly fresh. Edges the Mates in this vintage.
WSET Notes:
Pale gold.
Pronounced on the nose with peach, pear, pineapple, lemon, smoke, cream, biscuit, toast, toasted hazelnut, flint, wet stone, ginger. Developing.
Pronounced and dry on the palate. Medium plus body, high alcohol, high acidity, long finish.
Can drink now but has potential for aging.

Second bottle and consistent with my previous note, which is not always the case.
