Flight 6 (1 Note)

  • 2003 Château Cantemerle 83 Points

Flight 7 (1 Note)

  • 2003 Château Labégorce-Zédé 90 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux

Nicely perfumed, meaty with some fruit.
Sweet, fruity and spicy, concentrated and balanced, still quite tannic, just about drinkable now but will be so much better in 5 years.

Flight 9 (1 Note)

Flight 10 (1 Note)

  • 2003 Château d'Aiguilhe 84 Points

France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

A very different nose, earthy, treacly, complex.
Raisins in the mouth, spicy, tannic, somehow past its best, dries out in the mid palate and then disappears very quickly.
