Introduction

Khamen was in town on an extended layover returning to England from his business trip to Hawaii. That naturally required the CT Texas Group to get together and share a few bottles. The theme for route two on Friday evening was American Reds in order to introduce Khamen to some harder to acquire red wines from The Colonies. As is typical with this group a few off theme bottles just happened to jump into the mix. Here are the results:

Closing

In addition with cigars at oskiwawa's house in McKinney after dinner oskiwawa opened a few I didn't note or take notes upon:

2001 Château Smith Haut Lafitte
197X California Cabernet
XXXX Sauternes

Needless to say I was seriously cratering by the time I got to the dead Cali, SHL and the Sauternes TBD since I can't even remember what I was drinking.
