A fun evening as usual with well above average wines. Several dupes that of course no one picked until half the wines had been unveiled. Interesting that the Cali ringer stole the show against some top bordeaux. Why do I keep buying these again?
Also interesting that there was a pretty tight bunching of wines that represent probably a 10x range in price - $20 to $200+.
All wines blind as usual.

Pale white/yellow. Full rich aroma of spicy yellow fruit. tight yellow fruit with good acidity, spice, and some petrol hints? Tight with plenty of oak but great concentration.
