France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Montrachet Grand Cru
Powerfull and sweet nose, tropical, lacks complexity what you expect from Montrachet. Probably time. Blind I rather say New World than classic Burgundy.
This one has got it all, absolute classic! Silky fruit, iron, smoke, floral, baking spice, all so refined and well integrated. So Enjoyable already but with a very long future ahead!
Stunning nose with the full fruitbasket, blossom, honey, lot's of botrytis, slate. So intense and powerful. Almost to much. Needs time to gain more balance and higher score. (97+)
You can smell this one from a distance. Candied fruit, figs, moccha, espresso, butterscotch, salted caramel. Very well integrated alcohol. Screamingly intense, linear and very very long finish.
7 gr/l. From Schoenenburg Sote. Not as complete and refined as Schoelhammer. Tight, apple, white peach, white flowers, touch of petrol. Needs to be aerated, after 15 minutes more ripeness and complexity.
From magnum. Classic classy claret, pure and clean cassis fruit, plums, leather, cigarbox, gravelly, dusty minerality, great texture and beautiful length!

Very open and delicate Sassicaia! Maybe not the powerhouse with the long breath but very enjoyable and classic!

Although it is my personal taste the quality of this Tignanello was stunning. Ripe, spice, herbaceous, great texture and length.
