All wines were tasted not blind.
Very floral bouquet with honey as well. On the palate honey again, mild lime and grapefruit acidity. Some bitterness in the finish.

Minerals and citrus in the bouquet. On the palate quite dry, green apple, firm acidity, minerals again, some bitterness. Tight, but lacks some refinement.

Beautiful and expressive bouquet with ripe red berry fruits, earth and some oak. On the palate certainly for a Burgundy a lot of sweetness of ripe red fruits also some acidity, soft and integrated tannin and a medium length. The hot vintage is noticeable. Some thought it was too ripe and already a bit too old. I liked the wine. Drink now.

An Austrian Bordeaux blend and although already quite developed, a really nice surprise. Rustic bouquet with cassis, plums, smoke and minerals. On the palate red and dark forest fruits, vanilla, smoke again, a lot of sweetness balanced by pleasant acidity and soft, just still lightly sticky tannin. Completely ready now.

Bouquet with cassis, vanilla, some smoke, earth and graphite. On the palate dark forest fruits, concentrated and rustic with still powerful and compact, sticky tannin and a firm amount of acidity and bitterness. Lacks a bit refinement in this stage, but I bet that in 5 or 8 years the wine will show more of that and it will probably last several years after that. 88++

In the bouquet a lot or ripe dark forest fruits, vanilla, sweet spices etc. On the palate beautiful and concentrated dark fruit juice, good oak, good acidity and round tannin with still a firm bite. The wine is starting to show its merits, but is still too young. My guess is that somewhere between 2018 and 2020 this wine will enter maturity stage and will deliver beautiful drinking until around 2024.

Garnet red. The bouquet is a bit earthy and also shows red and dark berry fruits, eucalyptus, tea and raisins. On the palate chocolate, firm acidity and good bitterness. The wine seems to be fully mature now and hard to say how long it will last. Until 2017 at least, Lovely wine now though. 89.

Beautiful bouquet with a lot of sweet spices and ripe red and dark berry fruits. Same on the palate, with also mocha, smoke, beautiful acidity and luxurious oak. Great length. A beautiful and typical Priorat with a lot of sweetness, but also everything else in a good balance. Ready now and the next few years.

Deep dark purple and almost black. In the bouquet a lot of dark cherries and spiciness. On the palate ripe dark berries and dark cherries, a firm dose of good oak, lactic impressions. Enormously concentrated and juicy wine. Nice already, but still very youthful. Give the wine a few years of ageing.

Very clean bouquet with good citrus. On the palate yellow and white fruits, soft minerality and citrus. Pleasantly dry. Nice wine without being really great.

2011 Antech Crémant de Limoux Grande Cuvée 86 Points

A bit yeasty, peach and pear in the bouquet. On the palate green and yellow apple, quite much sweetness and little acidity. A crowd pleaser.
